Privacy Policy

This is a sample policy written for the MontoEdu demo project, it illustrates what a real policy page would cover, but it isn't legal advice and shouldn't be relied on as a binding agreement.

1. Information we collect

When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo. As you use MontoEdu, we store your lesson progress, calculator history, saved glossary terms, translation activity, XP, streaks, and investing practice trades.

2. How we use it

We use this information to run your account: picking up where you left off, tracking streaks and badges, and showing your progress on your profile. We don't sell your data.

3. What we don't collect

MontoEdu doesn't ask for or store real bank account numbers, card numbers, or brokerage credentials. Calculator inputs and investing trades use numbers you type in or virtual cash, never a connection to a real financial account.

4. Cookies and sign-in

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to remember basics like your selected language. We don't use third-party advertising trackers.

5. Third parties

We use Google for sign-in and Supabase to store account data. Those providers process data on our behalf under their own security practices.

6. Data retention and deletion

We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time.

7. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes in a meaningful way, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
